Jesus taught us to address God as our Father when we pray and assured us that we can trust the Almighty to respond to our requests and needs. Therefore, let us come together in worship today assured that as God’s precious children, our prayers will be heard.

West Pottergate Community Fun Day A big thank you to all who supported and helped last Saturday and to the team who arranged it. Let’s pray that God will use those relationships formed.
Fr Darren is away on Rural Dean duties on Tuesday and then for a long weekend holiday from Friday. Thanks to those providing cover.
The next Traidcraft Stall will be on Sunday 7th August then monthly every first Sunday. Traidcraft will also be available over the Heritage weekend and this will include craft items.
St Giles Church Fête will be on Saturday 27th August from 11.00am to 3.00pm in the church and grounds. Please do come and enjoy all the Stalls and events – super raffle, tasty barbecue, interesting bric-a-brac, cake stall, morning coffee, cream teas and fun stalls. Children’s activities include Bouncy Castle, Tombola and Parachuting Teddies! Absolutely everybody is welcome; please invite all your friends for a really fun day. We need people to help man the stalls especially the Raffle and to relieve at odd times on the other stalls. If you could only manage a couple of hours, that would be great. Any donations of Jewellery, Raffle prizes, good Bric-a-brac, and Cakes, Jams etc. Monetary donations towards ingredients would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Elsie and Pat.

If you would like to make a personal donation then do please put it in the box on the table by the Charity board or pass it to the Treasurer. If you can then please do Gift Aid your donation.

Salvation Army Pottergate ARC – please do keep bringing in donations of tins and packets and place them in the box in the Tower Vestry. Many thanks to Elsie and David for organising the delivery of your gifts to the Salvation Army.
